Ennis Tola have been on 'hiatus' as they take some personal time before launching their 2nd album. However, they are coming out of hibernation for a very special show with Sleepmakeswaves. After touring with Karnivool as well as playing at South by Southwest and European touring throughout 2011 and 2012, Sleepmakeswaves are kicking arse everywhere with their amazing sound. Check them out on September 21 at Northcote Social Club.

The second album by Ennis Tola, What The Waters Hide, is nearing completion. Much of the album has been recorded at home in Melbourne, with a few bits and pieces tracked at Abbey Road studios in London!

Production and mixing have come from audio giants Daniel Rejmer (Paul Kelly, Foals, Bjork - remix), Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus) and Ennis Tola's own Tomas Fitzgerald. For the Abbey Road sessions, Ennis Tola is grateful for the work of engineers Lewis Jones and Paul Pritchard as well as an English string trio: Teodora Ilieva on Violin, Anna Colville on Viola and Heidi Parsons on Cello.
