Progressive Rock act Ennis Tola originate from Melbourne, Australia. Their first album, Seed, drew the attention of the national and international progressive rock community, with stellar reviews from press all over the world, including Classic Rock Presents Prog (UK) and Progression Magazine (US).
They have received airplay worldwide, with some of the more notable stations including Triple J and BBC6 in the UK.
Ennis Tola's unique live show has attracted a dedicated following, earning them sell out headlining shows in 2011. They have shared the stage with acts as diverse as Sydonia, Twelve Foot Ninja and have been invited on a series of shows with Floating Me (with members from Karnivool and Cog).
Ennis Tola are currently working on their second album. Although much of it has been recorded at home in Melbourne at Anon Islet Studios, part of the forthcoming new release was tracked and engineered at Abbey Road Studios, London. Pulling out all stops, the band worked with a string ensemble and have had tracks produced by mix engineer giants Forrester Savell (Cog, Butterfly Effect, Karnivool) and Daniel Rejmer (Foals, Paul Kelly, Bjork, The Kills). In April 2011, Ennis Tola launched their first single from their second record, Backbone to a packed house at the East Brunswick Club and will follow with the full-length release in 2012.
